Fall Quarter 2008

This post is more of a reminder to myself.

So this quarter I came back to Davis thinking that I can just get some A's to raise my GPA because I took easy classes that were recommended by my friends. However, not only were those classes not easy for me, this kind of mentality was also the main reason that led to my downfall. I was a fool to think that I can just do zero work and still get A's. This is no longer high school, or middle school, or elementary school, for that matter. Therefore, in order for my to start getting better grades, I must face the fact that there is no such thing as an easy A in college. Well, maybe a couple, but still...

On a brighter note, I had fun shopping with my parents this weekend. Might post pictures of what I got if I feel like it. That is all.

Alex & Chloe Necklace:


I have been wanting to get a necklace by Alex & Chloe for a while now. However, I never pulled the trigger. Yesterday I just saw their new collection, and saw this piece. Totally love it, probably will cop. Maybe Christmas present? lol

What The!

This morning as I walked inside my bathroom, I was greeted by something I did not expect, something that resembled the characteristics of a cockroach. As much as I wanted to stay calm, I was in shock. After telling Gordon about it, I got out the bug spray. I swear I was spraying that thing for like a minute straight and that thing just would not die. However, my persistence finally overcame the stupid bug and ended its miserable life. After all that, I cleaned the bathroom floor. So yea, not exactly a good way to start my day.

Officially Starting To Use This Blog

Don't have much to say right now except I want winter to come so I can wear the new jackets I bought in China. I might consider doing a what are you wearing today thing on this blog. On another note, I love this song, it makes me cry.

Liar Game

I just finished watching a Japanese drama called Liar Game. One of the main characters is played by Matsuda Shota. You may also recognize him from Hana Yori Dango. He is featured in many Japanese fashion magazines, probably the reason why I like him so much. Anyway, the drama was definitely worthy watching. If you like puzzle solving or detective genres, you will most likely enjoy this drama. It was truly a battle of the mind. I have also included the opening of the drama as a preview.
